Our young people will be coming from a place of trauma and we need patience, kindness and understanding to support them to feel safe and allow them to open up and build relationships with us.

Ideally you would have experience of working in a children’s home, but do not be put off if you do not, we are looking for qualities such as: Resilience, Kindness, Calm under pressure, Problem solvers, Good sense of humour, Initiative and Inspirational characters.

We take safeguarding very seriously and this role is subject to extensive reference and recruitment checks including an Enhanced DBS certificate.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £13.52-£16.12 per hour

Education:

  • GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

  • Residential Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (required)
  • Level 3 in Residential Childcare (preferred)

Work authorisation:

  • United Kingdom (required)
